The last four words of the last quote is the album title
3 - Go to Flickr’s Interesting photo page
Third picture, no matter what it is, is your album cover
Put it all together to make your album. Either crop it to CD cover size, or just use the raw image itself… the only rule is you’re only allowed to add the album title and artist title.
After one week, I’ve managed to stick to all of two of my New Year’s goals (Salads and savings. Something inspiring about green things?) Fortunately, I’m looking at this as a year long process, and not as an all-or-nothing bet against a life time of habitual procrastination. Change is slow, and I’m not giving up.
On a completely different topic, we saw Cloverfield on Saturday and it was great. I got really involved with the characters, and have way too much un-plot-related speculation about their lives prior to the events of the evening. I loved the action, the monster was suitably frightening, and the ending fit with the premise. While I’ve read that a number of people became motion sick as a result of 87 minutes of unending shaky-cam action, I had only a slight headache. I would, however, recommend that you not sit in the first five or six rows of seats, and stay in the upper section of a stadium-style theater. Also, pay close attention to the horizon on the right side of the screen during the very last Coney Island moment, and stay until the end of the credits.
I’ve been meaning to post these for a week, but didn’t have the time because of my law paper. Starting Monday, for the rest of 2008:
For it is, it is, a glorious thing to be a nerdy-queen!
This is good to know. I’ll plan accordingly.
My mom will be in town for the rest of the week. She lands at 2pm today. Chris and I love when people visit, because it means we get to do all the touristy things we still haven’t done after three plus years of living in LA (example: when Marshall was here, we visited the La Brea Tar Pits. They’re right down town!). Our plans for this week include one day to see The Getty, and maybe a walk along Rodeo Drive.
I still have a bunch of work to do on my law paper, but it’s starting to look like I can make a good case.
And because I woke up kind of early today and didn’t feel like being productive, I took a nerd test.
